GO BAR

Innovative packaging design to reflect the speed and convenience of snack bars.

I often find myself grabbing a snack bar for a quick boost of energy. But looking at typical snack bar packaging, I thought to myself, surely there’s a better way. An idea formed, to create packaging that functions to distribute snack bars through a slot at the bottom of one side.

Branding

Once I had the idea, I began to establish branding for the product. Here are some of my initial logo ideas.

This is the final logo and style guide for the brand, reflecting on the speed and function of the box.

Box Design

I then designed the box, which features a slot at the bottom of one side, so that bars can be distributed one by one. When a bar is removed, gravity pulls the next bar into place, ready to go. This would also allow customers to save valuable pantry space, and easily organize different GO BAR flavors side by side.
